Originating from Bialystok, Poland, HERMH was formed in 1993. Only a year after that, HERMH recorded it's first demo "Oremus Peccatum (refaim)", and later the "Crying Crowns Of Trees". The MC version of this material was released by a small udnerground label Witching Hour Prod., CD version - by Italian Enthropy Prod. Summer 1995, HERMH signs to Last Epitaph Prod and new album "Taran" is born. The band play some gigs with VADER, BEHEMOTH and LAKE OF TEARS. In 1996 HERMH signs for Pagan Records and their new album, "Angeldemon" is released being a big step forwrd in band's evolution. Back then, the band also recorded a cover of KAT's "Czarne Zastepy" for the tribut album "Czarne Zastepy - W Holdzie KAT" released through Pagan Records...

Hermh's 4th release is a masterpiece in the division of Dimmu Borgir and Cradle Of Filth. Musically "Eden's Fire" consists of well-composed tracks, inflicted by bombastic themes, intricate arrangements united by a pompous production. The result is a very maturating album - it's certainly not straightforward; but hell, who thought Black Metal was supposed to be an easy listening?
The vocalist Bart sounds very alike both Shagrath and Dani in the following way: Bart's vocals are experimental the way Shagrath manipulates his voice by electronics. Bart is also similar to Dani but not as extreme (low versus high pitch). Bart doesn't scream the highest octaves, which in turn suits Hermh well. The tricky part is to never overdo it - and that is certainly Bart's trademark...
